(A) Methuselah
創世紀Genesis 5:21-24

5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

哥林多前書1 Corinthians 16:22

出埃及記Exodus 34:6

彼得前書1 Peter 3:20
20 就是那從前在挪亞預備方舟、 神容忍等待的時候、不信從的人．當時進入方舟、藉著水得救的不多、只有八個人．
20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
彼得後書2 Peter 3:9
9 主所應許的尚未成就、有人以為他是耽延．其實不是耽延、乃是寬容你們、不願有一人沉淪、乃願人人都悔改。
9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

創世紀Genesis 7:4

彼得後書2 Peter 2:5
5 神也沒有寬容上古的世代、曾叫洪水臨到那不敬虔的世代、卻保護了傳義道的挪亞一家八口．
5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly.

6 故此、當時的世界被水淹沒就消滅了．
6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
馬太福音 Matthew 24:37-39
37 挪亞的日子怎樣、人子降臨也要怎樣。38 當洪水以前的日子、人照常喫喝嫁娶、直到挪亞進方舟的那日．39 不知不覺洪水來了、把他們全都沖去．人子降臨也要這樣。
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

啟示錄Revelation 22:13,20
13 我是阿拉法、我是俄梅戛、我是首先的、我是末後的、我是初、我是終。
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.
20 證明這事的說、是了．我必快來。阿們。主耶穌阿、我願你來。
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
