17 這是守望者所發的命、聖者所出的令、好叫世人知道、至高者在人的國中掌權、要將國賜與誰、就賜與誰．或立極卑微的人執掌國權．

17 ‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know. That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’

24 王阿、講解就是這樣．臨到我主我王的事、是出於至高者的命．25 你必被趕出離開世人、與野地的獸同居、喫草如牛、被天露滴濕、且要經過七期。等你知道至高者在人的國中掌權、要將國賜與誰、就賜與誰．26 守望者既吩咐存留樹、等你知道諸天掌權、以後你的國必定歸你．27 王阿、求你悅納我的諫言、以施行公義斷絕罪過、以憐憫窮人除掉罪孽、或者你的平安可以延長。

24 this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king: 25 They shall drive you from men, your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses. 26 “And inasmuch as they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be assured to you, after you come to know that Heaven rules. 27 Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

羅馬書Romans 1:21a

21a 因為他們雖然知道　神、卻不當作　神榮耀他、也不感謝他．

21a because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful.

1 尼布甲尼撒王、曉諭住在全地各方各國各族的人說、願你們大享平安．

2 我樂意將至高的　神向我所行的神蹟奇事、宣揚出來．3 他的神蹟何其大、他的奇事何其盛、他的國是永遠的、他的權柄存到萬代。

1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, To all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you. 2 I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me. 3 How great are His signs, And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,

And His dominion is from generation to generation.

8 世人哪、耶和華已指示你何為善。他向你所要的是甚麼呢。只要你行公義、好憐憫、存謙卑的心、與你的　神同行。

8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you. But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

28 這事都臨到尼布甲尼撒王。29 過了十二個月、他遊行在巴比倫王宮裡、〔原文作上〕30 他說、這大巴比倫不是我用大能大力建為京都、要顯我威嚴的榮耀麼。31 這話在王口中尚未說完、有聲音從天降下、說、尼布甲尼撒王阿、有話對你說、你的國位離開你了．32 你必被趕出離開世人、與野地的獸同居、喫草如牛、且要經過七期．等你知道至高者在人的國中掌權、要將國賜與誰、就賜與誰。

28 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. 30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” 31 While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! 32 And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.”

箴言Proverbs 16:18

18 驕傲在敗壞以先．狂心在跌倒之前。

18 Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

34 日子滿足、我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天、我的聰明復歸於我、我便稱頌至高者、讚美尊敬活到永遠的　神、他的權柄是永有的、他的國存到萬代。34 And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,

And His kingdom is from generation to generation.

37 現在我尼布甲尼撒讚美尊崇恭敬天上的王、因為他所作的全都誠實、他所行的也都公平．那行動驕傲的、他能降為卑。

37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

雅各書James 4:6b

6b『　神阻擋驕傲的人、賜恩給謙卑的人。』

6b “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

創世紀Genesis 14:18-19,22

18 又有撒冷王麥基洗德、帶著餅和酒、出來迎接．他是至高　神的祭司。19 他為亞伯蘭祝福、說、願天地的主、至高的　神、賜福與亞伯蘭．

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said:“Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth;

22 亞伯蘭對所多瑪王說、我已經向天地的主、至高的　神耶和華起誓．22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth.

馬太福音Matthew 11:25

25 那時、耶穌說、父阿、天地的主、我感謝你、因為你將這些事、向聰明通達人、就藏起來、向嬰孩、就顯出來．

1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.

羅馬書Romans 13:1

1 在上有權柄的、人人當順服他．因為沒有權柄不是出於　神的．凡掌權的都是　神所命的。

1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.

約翰福音John 19:11a

11a 耶穌回答說、若不是從上頭賜給你的、你就毫無權柄辦我．

11a Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above.

提摩太前書1 Timothy 2:2

2 為君王和一切在位的也該如此．使我們可以敬虔端正、平安無事的度日。2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

馬太福音Matthew 6:9b,10

9b我們在天上的父、願人都尊你的名為聖。10 願你的國降臨。願你的旨意行在地上、如同行在天上。

9b Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 Your kingdom come.

Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.

腓立比書Philippians 2:8-9
