38 當時有幾個文士和法利賽人、對耶穌說、夫子、我們願意你顯個神蹟給我們看。39 耶穌回答說、一個邪惡淫亂的世代求看神蹟．除了先知約拿的神蹟以外、再沒有神蹟給他們看。40 約拿三日三夜在大魚肚腹中．人子也要這樣三日三夜在地裡頭。41 當審判的時候、尼尼微人、要起來定這世代的罪、因為尼尼微人聽了約拿所傳的、就悔改了．看哪、在這裡有一人比約拿更大。42 當審判的時候、南方的女王、要起來定這世代的罪、因為他從地極而來、要聽所羅門的智慧話．看哪、在這裡有一人比所羅門更大。43 污鬼離了人身、就在無水之地、過來過去、尋求安歇之處、卻尋不著。44 於是說、我要回到我所出來的屋裡去．到了、就看見裡面空閒、打掃乾淨、修飾好了。45 便去另帶了七個比自己更惡的鬼來、都進去住在那裡．那人末後的景況、比先前更不好了。這邪惡的世代、也要如此。
38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” 39 But He answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and indeed a greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here. 43 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. 44 Then he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

27 耶穌正說這話的時候、眾人中間、有一個女人大聲說、懷你胎的和乳養你的有福了。28 耶穌說、是、卻還不如聽 神之道而遵守的人有福。
27 As Jesus was saying these things, a woman in the crowd called out, “Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” 28 He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

約拿的神蹟 SIGN OF JONAH
馬太福音Matthew 16:1-4
1 法利賽人和撒都該人、來試探耶穌、請他從天上顯個神蹟給他們看。2 耶穌回答說、晚上天發紅、你們就說、天必要晴。3 早晨天發紅、又發黑、你們就說、今日必有風雨。你們知道分辨天上的氣色、倒不能分辨這時候的神蹟。4 一個邪惡淫亂的世代求神蹟、除了約拿的神蹟以外、再沒有神蹟給他看．耶穌就離開他們去了。
1 Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him asked that He would show them a sign from heaven. 2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times. 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” And He left them and departed.

是給還是不給 神蹟 ? Is a Sign given or no Sign is given?
馬可福音 Mark 8:11,12
11 法利賽人出來盤問耶穌、求他從天上顯個神蹟給他們看、想要試探他。12 耶穌心裡深深的歎息說、這世代為甚麼求神蹟呢。我實在告訴你們、沒有神蹟給這世代看。
11 Then the Pharisees came out and began to dispute with Him, seeking from Him a sign from heaven, testing Him. 12 But He sighed deeply in His spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Assuredly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.”
約拿的神跡在你我的身上嗎？Do you have the sign of Jonah in your life?
我能否被托付给不信教者悔改的信息?
Can I be entrusted and empowered with the message of repentance to non-believers?

JONAH’S PRAYER OF REPENTANCE TO RETURN TO COVENANT
約拿書 Jonah 2:1-10
1 約拿在魚腹中禱告耶和華他的 神、2 說、我遭遇患難求告耶和華、你就應允我．從陰間的深處呼求、你就俯聽我的聲音。3 你將我投下深淵、就是海的深處．大水環繞我．你的波浪洪濤、都漫過我身。4 我說、我從你眼前雖被驅逐、我仍要仰望你的聖殿。5 諸水環繞我、幾乎淹沒我．深淵圍住我、海草纏繞我的頭．6 我下到山根．地的門將我永遠關住。耶和華我的 神阿、你卻將我的性命從坑中救出來。7 我心在我裡面發昏的時候、我就想念耶和華。我的禱告進入你的聖殿、達到你的面前。8 那信奉虛無之神的人、離棄憐愛他們的主．9 但我必用感謝的聲音獻祭與你．我所許的願、我必償還。救恩出於耶和華。10 耶和華吩咐魚、魚就把約拿吐在旱地上。
1 Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the fish’s belly. 2 And he said:“I cried out to the Lord because of my affliction, And He answered me.“Out of the belly of Sheol I cried,
And You heard my voice. 3 For You cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the floods surrounded me; All Your billows and Your waves passed over me. 4 Then I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight; Yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’ 5 The waters surrounded me, even to my soul; The deep closed around me; Weeds were wrapped around my head. 6 I went down to the moorings of the mountains; The earth with its bars closed behind me forever; Yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Lord, my God.
7 “When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord; And my prayer went up to You,Into Your holy temple. 8 “Those who regard worthless idols. Forsake their
own Mercy.
9 But I will sacrifice to You. With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.” 10 So the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

34 於是叫眾人和門徒來、對他們說、若有人要跟從我、就當捨己、背起他的十字架來跟從我。35 因為凡要救自己生命的、〔生命或作靈魂下同〕必喪掉生命．凡為我和福音喪掉生命的、必救了生命。
34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.
2. 悔改: 神國Repentance: Kingdom
馬可福音 Mark 1:15
15日期滿了、神的國近了．你們當悔改、信福音。
15“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God [g]is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
