8 but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; 10 and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. 11 Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them.

1 起初 神創造天地。
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
羅馬書Romans 1:20
20 自從造天地以來、 神的永能和神性是明明可知的、雖是眼不能見、但藉著所造之物、就可以曉得、叫人無可推諉．
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

一、神豐盛的慈愛( Hesed ) 和誠實(Emet)
詩篇Psalm 86:15
15 主阿、你是有憐憫有恩典的 神、不輕易發怒、並有豐盛的慈愛和 誠實。
15 But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.
詩篇Psalm 85:10
10 慈愛和誠實、彼此相遇．公義和平安、彼此相親．
10 Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed.
詩篇Psalm 36:5
5 耶和華阿、你的慈愛、上及諸天．你的信實、達到穹蒼。
5 Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
詩篇Psalm 100:5
5 因為耶和華本為善．他的慈愛、存到永遠、他的信實、直到萬代。

耶利米哀歌Lamentations 3:22-23

22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.
二、信實的神 永不改變
申命記Deuteronomy 7:9
9 所以你要知道耶和華你的神、他是神、是信實的神、向愛他守他誡命的人、守約施慈愛、直到千代．
9 Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.
瑪拉基書Malachi 3:6
6 因我耶和華是不改變的、所以你們雅各之子沒有滅亡。
6 For I am the Lord, I do not change. Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
雅各書James 1:17b
17b 在他並沒有改變、也沒有轉動的影兒。

三、信實的神成全諸事
創世紀Genesis 17:1
1 亞伯蘭年九十九歲的時候、耶和華向他顯現、對他說、我是全能的 神、你當在我面前作完全人。
1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.
約伯記Job 37:23
23 論到全能者、我們不能測度．他大有能力、有公平和大義、必不苦待人。
23 As for the Almighty, we cannot find Him; He is excellent in power, In judgment and abundant justice; He does not oppress.
啟示錄Revelation 19:6
6 我聽見好像群眾的聲音、眾水的聲音、大雷的聲音、說、哈利路亞．因為主我們的神、全能者、作王了。
6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns!

耶利米書Jeremiah 23:24
24 耶和華說、人豈能在隱密處藏身、使我看不見他呢．耶和華說、我豈不充滿天地麼。
24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord.
(1)赦罪洗淨
約翰一書1 John 1:9
9 我們若認自己的罪、神是信實的、是公義的、必要赦免我們的罪、 洗淨我們一切的不義。
9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
(2)堅固保護
帖撒羅尼迦後書2 Thessalonians 3:3
3 但主是信實的、要堅固你們、保護你們脫離那惡者〔或作脫離兇惡〕。
3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
(3)成就應許
哥林多後書2 Corinthians 1:20
20 神的應許、不論有多少、在基督都是是的．所以藉著他也都是實在的、〔實在原文作阿們〕叫神因我們得榮耀。
20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
希伯來書Hebrews 10:23b
23b因為那應許我們的是信實的．
23b for He who promised is faithful.
(4)全然成聖
帖撒羅尼迦前書1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
23 願賜平安的神、親自使你們全然成聖．又願你們的靈、與魂、與身子、得蒙保守、在我主耶穌基督降臨的時候、完全無可指摘。24 那召你們的本是信實的、他必成就這事。
23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.
彼得前書1 Peter 1:15-16
15 那召你們的既是聖潔、你們在一切所行的事上也要聖潔．16 因為經上記著說、『你們要聖潔、因為我是聖潔的。』
15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”
(5)忍受試探
哥林多前書1 Corinthians 10:13
13 你們所遇見的試探、無非是人所能受的、 神是信實的、必不叫你們受試探過於所能受的．在受試探的時候、總要給你們開一條出路、叫你們能忍受得住。
13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
(6)保全到底
哥林多前書1 Corinthians 1:8-9
8 他也必堅固你們到底、叫你們在我們主耶穌基督的日子、無可責備。9 神是信實的、你們原是被他所召、好與他兒子、我們的主耶穌基督、一同得分。
8 who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
提摩太後書2 Timothy 1:12b
12b 因為知道我所信的是誰、也深信他能保全我所交付他的、〔或作他所交託我的〕直到那日。
12b for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
結論
詩篇Psalm 37:3,4
3 你當倚靠耶和華而行善．住在地上、以他的信實為糧．4 又要以耶和華為樂．他就將你心裡所求的賜給你。
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
