希伯來書Hebrew 11:24-27
24 摩西因著信，長大了就不肯稱為法老女兒之子。 25 他寧可和 神的百姓同受苦害，也不願暫時享受罪中之樂。 26 他看為基督受的凌辱比埃及的財物更寶貴，因他想望所要得的賞賜。 27 他因著信，就離開埃及，不怕王怒；因為他恆心忍耐，如同看見那不能看見的主。
24 By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, 25 choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, 26 esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
希伯來書Hebrew 11:32-35
32 我又何必再說呢？若要一一細說，基甸、巴拉、參孫、耶弗他、大衛、撒母耳，和眾先知的事，時候就不夠了。 33 他們因著信，制伏了敵國，行了公義，得了應許，堵了獅子的口， 34 滅了烈火的猛勢，脫了刀劍的鋒刃；軟弱變為剛強，爭戰顯出勇敢，打退外邦的全軍。 35 有婦人得自己的死人復活。又有人忍受嚴刑，不肯苟且得釋放（原文是贖），為要得著更美的復活。
32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: 33 who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again.
希伯來書Hebrew 12:1,2
1我們既有這許多的見證人，如同雲彩圍著我們，就當放下各樣的重擔，脫去容易纏累我們的罪，存心忍耐，奔那擺在我們前頭的路程， 2 仰望為我們信心創始成終的耶穌（或譯：仰望那將真道創始成終的耶穌）。他因那擺在前面的喜樂，就輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的苦難，便坐在 神寶座的右邊。
1Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
希伯來書Hebrew 12:3
那忍受罪人這樣頂撞的，你們要思想，免得疲倦灰心。
For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
以賽亞書Isaiah 53:10
耶和華卻定意（或譯：喜悅）將他壓傷，使他受痛苦。耶和華以他為贖罪祭（或譯：他獻本身為贖罪祭）。他必看見後裔，並且延長年日。耶和華所喜悅的事必在他手中亨通。Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;He has put Him to grief.When You make His soul an offering for sin,He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. ‘When You shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed’
